I came to a meetup because one of my professors told me it was happening. I was nervous because I didn’t know anyone there. When i arrived I immediately saw a group of super sweet inviting people. After talking throughout the night I was invited to work on a project with them. Which turned into our first shipped title, and a group of my best friends.

Sound

I decided to switch careers, and PGM is what helped give me the confidence to go into game dev “for real.” Members were so encouraging and positive when I wasn’t sure where to start. They convinced me to join in my first game jam, and from there, I was able to start building my portfolio in earnest and have made some of my best friends in the industry. I got my first game dev job in part because of the way my experiences at PGM helped me build up my portfolio and resume, as well as my confidence as a developer. I’m so grateful to this group!
